Jimmy Abdou has won his appeal over the red card he was shown during Saturday's 4-4 draw against rivals Charlton Athletic.

The French midfielder was sent off by referee Mike Jones in the first half after bringing down Lloyd Sam in the box, despite The Lions having David Forde and two defenders between The Addicks' player and the goal.

However, video replays showed that the player won the ball and the FA panel agreed, allowing Abdou to line-up against Norwich City on Boxing Day. Millwall were leading 2-1 at the time and needed an injury-time equaliser from Danny Scholfield to earn a point.
