As predicted on Millwall Mad last week, Colin West has left his post as coach and assistant boss to the first team squad at The Den after manager Kenny Jackett decided to shake-up his backroom staff in an effort to get The Lions performing on the pitch.
Reserve team boss Joe Gallen, who worked with Jackett when they were both at Queens Park Rangers, is now the manager's new assistant while Richard Shaw becomes The Lions' new reserve-team boss.
It is unclear whether or not the veteran defender will retire at the end of the season when his current playing contract expires although he was on the bench yesterday afternoon for the visit of Luton Town.
