The former Fulham and Watford winger has almost recovered from a knee injury and will be monitored ahead of Saturday's trip to Sheffield United, although the visit of Middlesbrough on February 19 looks a more likely target.
"He looks good in training but I'll have to make a decision on him this week," said Lions boss Kenny Jackett.
"Whether it will be this Saturday, I'm not sure, but I would say, in a fortnight, he will be in the squad."
