Branco, who won an Olympic gold medal in Sydney four years ago, has spent his entire career in Germany and has ten international caps to his name. He is said to be training with the club and is the latest in a long list of names that now includes Kenyan Dennis Oliech and Aberdeen winger Lewis Thompson that have been linked to The Lions over the summer.
The club have let it be known that chief scout Dave Tuttle has been casting his net far and wide, but as yet and rather worringly - they have yet to sign any of the players he has recommended.
