Braniff: Gone but not forgotten
Northern Ireland Under-21 international Kevin Braniff has left Millwall after his contract with terminated by mutual consent.

The popular youngster, who scored twice earlier this season under Nigel Spackman, made his debut for The Lions under Keith Stevens when an injury crisis at the club thrust the teenager into the first team in August 2000. And his career got off to a flyer as he scored a cracking goal on his debut against Brighton & Hove Albion in the League Cup.

But his career at The Den never really got going and although he played under four different managers he only managed thirty-six starts with another thirty-eight appearances as a substitute, scoring five goals in total.
