Braniff, who has recently returned from a loan spell with Conference side Canvey Island, will link up with the side on the Sunday prior to the game and will be hoping to stake a claim for a starting place at The Oval, Belfast.
The game should have seen winger Peter Sweeney line up against his teammate but injury has kept the youngster out of the Scotland squad.
