After the disappointing defeat at the hands of Liecester City on Saturday, Dennis Wise takes his demoralised troops off to the Madjeski Stadium tonight for the Championship clash against Reading hoping to resurrect something from an indifferent season that promised so much.

Wise is set to stick with the same squad that came unstuck against The Foxes but may opt to play Bob Peeters upfront in place of Ben May. Once again, injuries to key players has forced the manager's hand somewhat with Kevin Muscat, Barry Hayles, Paul Ifill, Alan Dunne and Wise himself all still missing.

However, the manager is optimistic that at least three of his senior players will be available for selection within the next fortnight.

Speaking to the club's official website, Wise said: "Our luck will turn in terms of those who will be coming back soon, including Barry Hayles, myself, Paul Ifill, Muzzy and hopefully Alan Dunne.

"It really will make a big difference to our team. There are some youngsters playing just now who are finding it a bit difficult and maybe need to have a little rest. But at the present moment we've only got youngsters to go in their place, so those in the team have to get on with the job in hand. I'm sure when the other lads come back it will be very different."
