Byfield: Possible return
After being ruled out for the rest of the season, Millwall striker Darren Byfield could be in line for a surprise return in time for tomorrow's game against Tranmere Rovers after making a quick recovery from injury. And the news will come as a boost to manager Willie Donachie, who hasn't given up on the play-offs just yet.

It had been feared that Byfield would miss the remainder of The Lions' campaign after being stretchered off with a suspected broken ankle in the game against Swansea City after just two-minutes but those initial fears proved unfounded.

"Darren is coming along very well and there is an outside chance that he could be fit for Saturday", Donachie told the club's official site. "He has made a miraculous recovery which is great for us; it's great to have more quality, especially up front."
