It was a bad night on the whole for Millwall's small selection of international representatives, with both Canada and Scotland's U-21 losing by two goals.

New signings Josh Simpson and Adrian Serioux were both involved in Canada's 2-0 World Cup qualifier defeat at home to Guatemala. Simpson started the game to win his second cap - and managed to get himself booked after three minutes for his troubles - while Serioux made an appearance as a second half sub to win his first full internationall cap.

Elsewhere, Peter Sweeney started for Scotland in their under-21 game against Hungary and pciked up a couple of notices for a mazy run which saw the youngster go round several Hungarian players before narrowly missing the target. The Scots eventually lost 4-2 but it was better news for Northern Ireland's youngsters and Kevin Braniff, who drew 0-0 with Switzerland.
