Ifill: Cash boost
Despite having been relegated with two games to play, Millwall received a welcome cash boost from the other end of the table today with the news that Sheffield United's promotion to the Premiership has triggered a payment of £200,000.

The money, which will be payable on June 1st, is part of the transfer deal involving former Lions winger Paul Ifill last summer - and the irony of that move will not be lost on many Lions fans.

The club could also receive a further boost of around £200,00 as a part of a similar payment involving the sale of Steve Reid if Blackburn Rovers finish in the top eight of the Premier League this season.
