Cogan: Off to pastures new
Winger Barry Cogan has moved north of the river to join League Two side Barnet for an undisclosed fee.

The 21-year-old, who struggled with injury throughout the early part of his Lions career, finally became a first team regular under Dennis Wise but despite making an appearance in both the 2004 FA Cup Final and the club's UEFA Cup tie against Ferencvaros, he often had trouble with his form and only began playing regularly during last season's ill-fated campaign.

With sixteen new signings arriving at the club over the summer, the young Irishman dropped down the pecking order under new boss Nigel Spackman and has decided to move on in order to kick-start his career back into life.
