The youngster, who won Young Player of the Year last season in the face of not much competition let's be honest, appears to have earned admiring glances from Palace boss Peter Taylor for his performances last term, despite failing to win over a large majority of the Lions faithful, who saw Craig as the weak link in an otherwise impressive defensive line-up.
It's fair to say that here in the Millwall Mad dungeons we are absolutely astounded that a) anyone would actually want Tony Craig and b) that anyone would actually pay for his services. But then again, this is Crystal Palace and they seem to be building an entire side out of former Lions whose best days are well and truly behind them.
