Craig: Seeing out his career with Palace
Millwall defender Tony Craig will become a Crystal Palace player today after passing his medical at Selhurst Park yesterday afternoon.

The 22-year-old defender is expected to sign a two-year deal and end a career with The Lions that saw him make over 100 appearances for the team he supported as a boy.

Palace boss Peter Taylor confirmed the deal in today's South London Press and was said to be delighted with the prospect of his new signing, but not as delighted as many of the Millwall faithful, who feel the £150,000 fee - which could rise to £250,000 should Palace upset the form book and actually do something next season - will go a long way to improving the current squad at The Den.

Should the deal go through, Craig will find himself playing alongside former Lions Matt Lawrence, Darren Ward and Paul Ifill at Selhurst Park, not to mention Mark Kennedy and Leon Cort.
