Donachie: Disappointed in his players
Millwall manager Willie Donachie hit out at his players after they finished their season with a 2-2 draw at releagted Bradford City.

Goals from Darren Byfield - his sixteenth of the campaign - and Tony Craig - with his second goal for the club - helped spare The Lions' blushes but the boss felt his players had already gone off on holiday.

"I expected us to win this game to give us a chance of finishing in eighth place," said Donachie after the game. "But the attitude of the players, particularly in the first half, was not good enough.

"They treated it a bit like a pre-season game and after the fans had paid good money to travel all the way to support us, that is not what I expect. I am looking for much greater consistency in our performances next season.

"Against Bradford we were at times good, and at others, very poor which sums up the way we have been for much of the campaign. During the summer some players will go and others will come in.

"I am looking for three or four very good, honest professionals who will make us stronger and hopefully enable us to make a real challenge for promotion."
