Scott Dobie finally completed his switch to The City Ground this afternoon in a move believed to be worth around £525,000.

The 26-year-old Scottish International has signed a three-and-a-half year deal with Nottingham Forest and is expected to go straight into their squad to face Derby County this weekend.

During his brief spell at The Den with The Lions, Dobie scored three goals in 16 appearances. The money made from the transfer is expected to go towards strengthening the squad in time for the Championship run-in.

Speaking about his move, Dobie said: "I was only a few months into my contract at Millwall but I was told the club had accepted a bid for me even though Dennis Wise and Ray Wilkins said they didn't want to let me go.

"To be honest I was surprised the club accepted the bid from Forest but my form's good and I'm raring to go against Derby, if I'm selected by the gaffer."
