Roberts: Farewell
Midfielder Andy Roberts and defender Joe Dolan today ended their associations with Millwall today after chairman Jeff Burnige announced that their contracts will not be renewed.

Roberts, who hasn't played for The Lions in over a year, has struggled with injury since re-joining The Lions in 2002/03 and last year failed to get a squad number following a tabloid scandal. Joe Dolan, meanwhile, has been given a free transfer. Dolan, who has been attracting interest from Brighton & Hove Albion, has spent much of the season on loan with various clubs, including The Seagulls, helping them to avoid relegation from The Championship.

"We have granted Joe a free transfer," Burnige told the club's official website, "because we want him to have the best possible opportunity to find a club where he can get regular first team football after his lengthy battles against injury.

"He was a popular figure at The Den and we wish him well."

The Lions' Chairman also confirmed that youngsters Trevor Robinson, Jason Rose and Joe Healy have all accepted new deals.
