The Irish Under-21 international's initial loan spell was cut short by his parent club last week following a suspension to Blues first-choice Nico Vassen but manager Steve Bruce has allowed the popular youngster to return to The Lions for the busy Christmas spell.
Doyle will be available to new manager David Tuttle for the away clash against Leicester City on Boxing Day and the home game against high-flying Watford two days later.
