Doyle: Staying with Birmingham
Birmingham City goalkeeper Colin Doyle has turned down an offer from Millwall Football Club to stay with The Blues.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 keeper had been expected to sign for The Lions after the club made overtures towards him during the back end of the season, installing the youngster as the club's number one goalie. But the Irishman appears ato have had a change of heart at the last minute and has accepted a new deal with Birmingham instead.

"Millwall spoke to me", confirmed Doyle. "But they couldn't offer me anything legally until my contract expired at the end of June.

"But when I had to make a decision I had no hesitation in committing my future to Blues.

"Now I will be looking to get as many games as I can and continue progressing."
