After picking up a six-match ban, Alan Dunne's season has gone from bad to worse with the news that he could be out for the remainder of the campaign after picking up an ankle injury.

The 22-year-old Irishman was due to return to the squad for next week's game against Reading after serving his suspension.

Speaking to the Lions' official website, assistant boss Ray Wilkins confirmed the news. "Unfortunateley he picked up an ankle injury in training and may not feature for us again this season".
