Easter Rising

Jermaine Easter is hoping to benefit from his loan move to The Den in more ways than one. The Plymouth striker has been out-of-favour at Home Park and as a result is now in the international wilderness, having failed to make the Wales squad for nearly a year.

But the 26-year-old has endured something of a torid time in the South West, starting only 20 games since his £200,000 move from Wycombe Wanderers and admits that The Lions can help him get his career back on track.

"I am more than happy to be joining a club that is going places," Easter told the South London Press. "Playing regularly can only help my chances of being picked for Wales."
