Millwall today secured the services of youngster Marvin Elliott for another three years after the highly-rated midfielder signed a new contract to keep him at The Den until the summer of 2007.

Elliot, who made his debut towards the end of the 2002/03 season, played in last season's FA Final covering for the injured Kevin Muscat at right-back.

Meanwhile new signing Barry Hayles could be out for up to two months after breaking two ribs in Sunday's clash against Ipswich Town at Portman Road.
