Evans Above!

As predicted on Millwall Mad at the beginning of the transfer window, Lions boss Kenny Jackett has added another goalkeeper to his first team squad, with Blackpool's Rhys Evans signing until the end of the season.

With Chris Day out for the rest of the season through injury and Preston Edwards lacking first-team experience, Jackett was keen to bring in an experienced keeper in order to give Lenny Pidgeley some competition in the Millwall goal.

The former England U21 keeper, who has enjoyed stints with Chelsea, Bristol Rovers, QPR and Leyton Orient, becomes the sixth signing since the beginning of January and is available for Saturday's FA Cup tie away to Coventry City.
