FIFA to investigate Lions transfer

Millwall could be hit with a compensation claim from Scottish club Clyde after Irn-Bru League One outfit submitted a complation to FIFA's dispute resolution chamber.

Brighton originally joined The Lions on a free transfer in the summer of 2005 after The Bully Wees failed to offer him in a contract within the appropriate time frame, despite his impressive performances for the club, allowing him to move on a Bosman.

However, Clyde are no seeking compensation for his football education as the player was 22 when he left the Broadwood Stadium.

The Scottish striker endured an injury-hit time at The Den and moved to St. Mirren in the summer. No date has yet been set for the chamber meeting.
