Goalkeeper David Forde has ended speculation surrounding his future by signing a new contract to keep him at The Dun until the summer of 2013.

The Irish keeper, who was a key factor in The Lions run to the play-offs last season, is the third player to commit his future to the club this week, following Neil Harris and Paul Robinson, and mafe it clear he sees Millwall as a team on the up.

"When I came to Millwall, the first aim was to help the club win promotion to the Championship. We came mighty close to doing that last May, and we have another chance to go one better over the next few months.

"One thing is for certain, whe have a very good group of players here, both on and off the pitch, and we are not far away from becoming a successful team."
