Forde on his way?

Cardiff City goalkeeper David Forde could become a Millwall player in the next week after AFC Bournemouth manager Kevin Bond admitted that he cannot compete with The Lions in terms of the financial package offered to the keeper.

Forde, 28, was expected to join Aberdeen a fortnight ago after being released by Cardiff but an approach by Jackett has seemingly thrown a spanner in the works with Forde preferring to move to London rather than Scotland.

"I want to bring in a goalkeeper and would like that goalkeeper to have been Fordey," Bond told The Daily Echo. "But it looks like he's going to Millwall so we'll have to see where we can go for a goalkeeper."
