Frampton comes alive!
Never one to waste resources, Willie Donachie has made sure Tony Craig's locker at the club didn't stay empty long by making a move for Brentford defender Andy Frampton.

The 27-year-old, who can also operate in midfield, arrives at the club on a two-year-deal with the fee undisclosed at this moment in time. The former Crystal Palace trainee made 164 appearances for The Bees and will compete for the left-back berth with Scott Barron, who will also join the club on July 1st.

"We had no plans to sell Tony", Willie revealed to the club's official website. "Even when the offer came in from Palace there was no pressure on me to sell from a financial point of view.

"But I couldn't deny Tony the opportunity to play at a higher level once the chance had arisen, and the money will enable me hopefully to do a couple of things, including bringing Andy in.

"He has been in our thoughts for some time and is a very good and experienced left back who will fill that role more than adequately."
