Easy does it - Tom Brighton is put through his paces
Millwall's touring squad may have expected to have the morning off ahead of tonight's game against KR Reykjavic but manager Nigel Spackman had other ideas as he looks to get his players fit for the new season.

The Lions had another training session this morning before being given the afternoon off by the new boss and all of the squad will feature in tonight's game, except for striker Gavin Grant who picked up a knock earlier this week. But the boss insists his players will feel the benefit at a later stage.

"We have trained this morning, just as we did before the first game, because from our point of view this tour is all about building up our fitness levels," he told the club's official site.

"I'm expecting the pitch for this game to be better than the other day, and I'm looking forward to seeing us pass the ball a bit better, but in terms of attitude and fitness I'm just looking for more of the same.

"Tonight's opposition are four points off second spot in their League and their season has been going for a couple of months so this will be a big test for us.

"It is a question of progression for us at the moment. By the weekend I'll be looking for players to play 60 minutes or so and then by the time we play Charlton, Reading and Palace things should begin to take shape."
