Goal-den Harris?

Millwall go into tomorrow's Coca-Cola Championship clash with Leicester City still waiting for their first goal of the new season, but one man who is keener than most to get onto the score sheet is Neil Harris.

The popular hitman just needs one more goal to equal Teddy Sheringham's record of 93 League goals for the club. Having successfully recovered from cancer, Harris has struggled with form over the past few years and has yet to start a game for The Lions' this season.

But with Millwall struggling to hit the target, manager Dennis Wise may opt to renew the Daniele Dichio-Harris partnership that fired the South London club into last season's F.A. Cup Final, relegating loan signing Stefan Moore to the subs' bench.

Elsewhere, new signing Adrian Serioux may get his first start for the club after a promising run-out for the reserves in mid-week against Arsenal. The Canadian international may replace Alan Dunne at right back or he could be pushed further upfield to operate down the right flank.

Meanwhile, Wise is still on the look-out for new players to re-inforce his young squad and is casting his eye over this week's Premiership fixtures.

"The Premiership starts this week," Wisey informed the club's official site. "Certain people are not going to be in certain teams. We have got them earmarked because that's what we have to go for.

"We've got to get these players in, we know that. It's nice to have new people in to create competition for places. At the moment we don't have too much of that in certain positions - people are just in there and if they are playing badly it's difficult to take them out - because I haven't got the personnel to put in.

"We will try our utmost to get certain people in because we want to achieve something at this football club and not just let it become middle of the table.
We'll keep solidering on with the transfer situation but in the meantime we have to be strong in our minds and we have to work hard for each other. If we work hard for each other things will happen - things will turn around."
