Millwall's Gavin Grant will stand trial next month, accused of plotting to murder another man in January 2005.

The 23-year-old striker, who was on loan at Grays Athletic before being remanded in custody, is alleged to have been involved in the shoooting of Jahmall Moore in Willesden Green along with two other men.

All three denied the charges when they appeared at the Old Bailey and are expected to stand trial for around six weeks, beginning on June 11th, ruling the player - who's future at the club remains uncertain - out of The Lions' pre-season.
