Grimes' Fantastic Four

Ashley Grimes single handedly destroyed Brighton & Hove Albion's reserve side this afternoon scoring all four goals in a 4-2 victory for Richard Shaw's team in a re-arranged game played at the club's training ground.

He netted his first after just three minutes before adding a second 26 minutes into the first half before completing his hattrick in the 66th minute. Three minutes later he scored his and the side's fourth to round off a comprehensive victory.

Grimes, who was on the bench on Saturday, has hit 12 goals for The Lions' reserve side so far this season to fire them to the top of the League and send a message to the rest of League One about the strength in depth available to Kenny Jackett.
