Neil Harris has insisted that his spell at The Den ended on good terms and that he has no grudges to bear against Dennis Wise.

"I knew the time had come for me to move on," revealed Harris. ""I'm not bitter about what has happened at Millwall, it's more disappointment. I'm disappointed i've not had more of a chance this season."

Harris was sold to Nottingham Forest on Tuesday for a nominal fee, having equalled Teddy Sheringham's League goalscoring record earlier this season, and the move came has a complete shock to many Lions fans. But Harris took the time out to thank them for their support over the past seven years.

"I am a little bit sad because I had some great years at Millwall and the fans supported me throughout my time at the club. I think i'd become part of the furniture at The Den. But it will seem very strange not being a Millwall player any longer.

"But the manager has to pick a team. He's told me that i'm not particularly part of his future plans and I respect that. Football is all about opinions. All I can say to him is, I think you're wrong. The future has been made clear to me at Millwall and I certainly don't want to be at a club where I'm not wanted - No player want's that."
