Harris could be on his way

Neil Harris could be on his way out of The Den at the end of the season, despite claims by manager Kenny Jackett in this week's News Shopper that no one has made an offer for the player.

Yesterday's Evening Standard reported that the striker was attracting admiring glances from a number of overseas clubs with the player's agents suggesting that Harris could be tempted if Millwall fail to offer the striker a new deal before Christmas.

Harris will be free to talk to any interested club in January and Millwall boss Kenny Jackett admitted that he hasn't even considered offering the player a new deal, despite his nine goals so far this season, and denies the club has received any approach for Harris.

"Nobody has come in for him," he told the local newspaper. "And I haven’t considered anything because we are just getting over some injuries from the start of the season.

“I haven’t spoken to Neil about it and nobody has approached me about him going somewhere else."
