Harris set to start?

Striker Neil Harris looks set to return to the Millwall starting line-up this evening as The Lions take on Liverpool in the Third Round of the Carling Cup.

The popular hitman equalled Teddy Sheringham's league goalscoring record on Saturday against Cardiff City to put himself in the frame to replace Cup-tied Barry Hayles.

Dennis Wise will not name his starting line-up until the last possible minute but its thought Harris will play a role either alongside or just behind loan signing Jo Tessum, who has been given clearance to play by Southampton.

Liverpool meanwhile will rest several key first team players with Sami Hyypia, Djibril Cisse, Luis Garcia and Dietmar Hamann all definite non-starters.

Looking ahead to tonight's clash, Wise shared his views on the encounter with the press.

"Liverpool have pace and the kind of quality we want to be up against all the time," said The Lions boss. "We will give it a go and if we are firing on all cylinders we will have a good chance.

"It will be good experience for the lads. "
