Hayles: Leaving The Den?
Lions hitman Barry Hayles is rumoured to be a transfer target for new Plymouth Argyle boss Ian Holloway, with the Plymouth Herald claiming that the 34-year-old striker is on a shortlist of potential signings.

Hayles, who missed much of last season through injury, is no longer considered an automatic first choice at The Den and could be tempted by a move to Home Park to team up once again with Holloway, who was the former Jamaican international's boss at Bristol Rovers.

"I don't tell people what my priority is but I think it's obvious what we need," Holloway told The Herald. "You can't lose Mickey Evans and what he did for you without filling that, and we haven't done that.

"Mickey is going to be sadly missed, on and off the field. He was a great personality. But I don't want just one striker like that. I want someone who can come off and link play."
