Robinson: Optimistic
Millwall kick-off the new season away to Doncaster Rovers tomorrow afternoon with expectations high, despite the recent upheavals caused by Darren Byfield's off-field antics.

And captain Paul Robinson is confident that The Lions could be set for a successful campaign.

"I've got a good feeling about this season," he announced at the recent Fans' Forum. "And the fans can really get behind us.

"I really fancy us to do well. We had a good pre-season and I really believe this squad can achieve great things.

"We have a team that's capable of winning promotion. With the fans' backing, we an really have a crack."

Lions boss Willie Donachie is set to give four of his summer signings their debuts at the Keepmoat Stadium, with Danny Spiller, Andy Frampton, Scott Barron and Gary Alexander all included in the squad, while keeper Preston Edwards is expected to take his place on the bench.
