Hess impressed by Prest

Preston Edwards could remain with Dover Athletic for another month after impressing manager Andy Hessenthaler during a five-game spell with The Whites.

The 19-year-old goalkeeper has conceded just three goals during his stay at Crabble and has done enough for Hessenthaler to think seriously about extending his loan spell with The Club - although Millwall boss Kenny Jackett may want him to return to The Den as The Lions look to secure a play-off berth in League One.

"This week we will be trying to sort out all the paperwork so we can keep him here for another month," the Dover manager told Kent News. "Since he has been here he has done very well. He was unlucky not to keep a clean sheet against Harlow on Saturday. Preston did make a mistake against Carshalton, but he will be all the better for that and will learn from it and progress."
