Iffy training with The Lions

Paul Ifill is back at Millwall - albeit on a temporary basis - after manager Kenny Jackett gave the winger permission to train with The Lions, but both parties hinted that it could become a permanent arrangement.

"I spoke to Chopper as the training ground is just down the road and he said he'd ask the boss," Ifill explained to the South London Press. "Kenny was really good about it so I am very grateful. I have been on Championship wages for a long time so that might be a problem but we shall see."

Ifill scored forty times in 234 games for The Lions before moving to Sheffield United and although he has had offers from a Championship club plus a couple of League One outfits, he has yet to find a team for the forthcoming season and could rejoin if both parties can work out a deal.
