Swindon Town midfielder Sammy Igoe could be on his way to The Den after receiving an offer from Millwall.

The deal is thought to be a one-year contract with an option to extend it beyond the end of next season should Igoe play a number of set games.

The 29-year-old midfielder had been offered a new contract by Swindon, but The Lions bid is thought ot be significantly better than their League One rivals.

"It's down to me now," Igoe told the Swindon Evening Advertiser.

"I've had an offer from Millwall which is suitable so I'm having a couple of days to ponder on it.

"I've had offers from other clubs but the majority of them have been up north.

"Obviously Millwall are in a higher league and when I spoke to Andy King he said to me that I deserved to play in that league.

"It's down to me now so I'm going to sit down and think it all through."
