Lions boss Dennis Wise plans for Sunday's clash with Leeds United have been dealt another injury blow with the news that both striker Ben May and midfielder Adrian Serioux are carrying injuries.

Both players picked up their knock during the behind-closed-doors friendly against Leyton Orient earlier in the week to give the manager an even bigger selection headache. With Kevin Muscat, Paul Ifill, Barry Hayles, Alan Dunne, Davide Livermore and Mark Phillips all missing through injury and suspension, Wise now has only a handful of players to chose from.

Speaking to the club's official website Wisey said: "We've got a couple more out from last week unfortunately, so it's going to be a difficult game.

"I think it's time for the young lads who have come in to become men now. They are going to have to stick up for themselves and stand firm with what they are going to be up against."

There is some good news for the manager, though, with Striker Bob Peeters set to return to action after a lenghty lay-off through injury. Peeters also played in Tuesday's game at Brisbane Road and now looks set for a place on the bench at the very least.

"Last week we talked about Bob being sub," explained the manager. "but it was a bit too soon. But now he has played 45 minutes in the reserves we will have a chat and take it from there."
