Izzy joining?

Scunthorpe United's Izzy Iriekpen could become Kenny Jackett's first signing when the January Transfer Window opens after being stripped of the club's captaincy and placed on the transfer list.

Iriekpen, who played under Jackett during their time together at Swansea City, was expected to sign a new deal with The Irons after manager Nigel Adkins opened contract negotiations with the player before Christmas but the club announced that the defender would not be offered a new deal and told he could leave Glanford Park.

It is now believed that Iriekpen is now training with The Lions and with Jackett keen on reinforcing his defence he could become a Millwall player in January.
