Jackett confident of Lions riposte

Millwall manager Kenny Jackett insists he does not have to lift his players for their upcoming tough double header on the road. After a solid start to life in the npower Championship, the Lions have suffered something of a blip, losing their 22-game unbeaten home record with a 6-1 drubbing by Watford on Saturday and crashing out of the Carling Cup to Ipswich three days later. It is hardly the best preparation for a trips to promotion-chasing Cardiff and leaders QPR, but Jackett is confident his side can spring a surprise. "The players will be up for it in terms of direction, energy and spirit," said Jackett. "We also have to know what wins and loses games and what we have to add. "There are two massive games coming up and sometimes that is the best opportunity because you can pull out a result nobody expects."
