Jackett: Disappointed by performance
Doncaster Rovers cruised to a 3-0 victory at The Den this afternoon as The Lions managed to turn in arguably their worst performance of the season.

The visitors never looked in danger after taking control from the kick-off and refused to allow The Lions into the game. And no one was more disappointed than Millwall boss Kenny Jackett, who saw a number of his new signings lose their way as the game progressed.

"It was the most disappointing performance since I've been here," he said after the game. "Doncaster got at us very quickly and denied us time on the ball - they were quicker, sharper and first to things throughout the game.

"I was waiting for our period but it didn't really come. Not many people put their name on a shirt today and osing Rhys Evans to a dead leg meant I only had two more substitutions to make to try and freshen things up.

"I took Lewis Grabban off because he wanted a little bit too much time on the ball and we had very little of that today. I think the transition from reserve football to the first-team is difficult when you're in our position and Lewis has suffered a little bit. But I'm sure he'll come through and show us what he's about though - touch and pace."
