But Jackett, who signed goalkeeper David Forde from Cardiff City last week, is playing his cards close to his chest and refused to reveal who the pair are, although mounting speculation in the press and on many of the club's messageboards suggest that another striker is on the way.
"There are two players in particular I have had my eye on since the back end of last season," revealed Jackett. "It will probably be July before I get a yes or no on them.
"They would both be good additions to the squad and are top of my list but I will keep my options open. I know there is plenty of speculation in the press about players but I'm not expecting anything in the immediate future."
