Jackett- Future in our own hands

Darren Ward's header, Christian Dailly's own goal and a brace from Steve Morison gave Millwall their fourth win in five matches and moved them to within a point of third-placed Charlton in the process.

"It is nice to be in the hunt with ten games left. That is what you want going into this stretch. The future is in our hands," said Jackett, who felt that the club's fans played a part in their demolition of the Addicks.

He added: "It was a great day for us. I'm very proud as a manager to see that attendance at the Den and it created a great atmosphere for the players to play and that helped us.

"It is probably one of the best results of my career. We produced a lot of quality in the second half and our goals were excellent. It's been a settled side. I wouldn't say there was any particular reason for this great run, but long may it continue."
