Jackett hopes for better fortunes at the County Ground

When Millwall played Swindon Town on the last day of the season back in May it was a day to forget for all concerned. Having secured their place in League One, The Lions had little to play for but manager Kenny Jackett had hoped to finish on a high but despite taking an early lead things went from bad to worse as Millwall lost 2-1 and Danny Senda ended up in hosptial.

"The game annoyed me," Jackett confessed to the club's official website. "It was a poor performance; we didn't deserve anything that day and we didn't get anything.

"Danny Senda scored an early goal for us and then got injured. That made a bad day even worse."

However, having signed Jermaine Easter on loan from Plymouth, and with Gifton Noel-Williams also set to sign before the end of the day, the manager is confident he has the fire power to sustain The Lions' recent run of good form.

"Swindon got the better of us then," he continued. "We will have to play a lot better than that this time if we are going to get the points."
