Jackett linked with Derby vacancy

It was only a matter of time before Millwall's Kenny Jackett was linked with the managerial vacancy at Pride Park and after being nominated by a couple of Derby fans on phone-in poll as the man they want to follow Paul Jewell into The Rams hotseat a number of bookmakers have now offered prices on The Lions manager.

Burton Albion manager Nigel Clough is the current favourite to fill the position, following in the footsteps of his father Brian who won the League title with Derby back in the 1970s, with Chris Hutchings and Aidy Boothroyd close behind.

But SkyBet have Jackett as fourth favourite for the position at 12/1. However, Victor Chandler are less keen, with the Millwall manager an outsider at 16/1 behind the likes of former Blackburn Rovers boss Paul Ince and Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson.
