Jackett looks to keep loanees

As hinted on Millwall Mad earlier this week, Lions manager Kenny Jackett will be concentrating his efforts as the transfer window opens on keeping the four loan signings currently with the club - Jay Simpson, Bryan Hodge, Marcus Bignot and Ahmet Brkovic.

Although Jackett could realistically sign Bignot and Brkovic it seems their age could go against them as the boss plans for the future, making them short-term options but little more.

The Lions boss told the club's website: "They have all been key players.

"In Jay's case it seems Arsenal are happy for him to stay here until the end of the season and I'm hopeful of sorting something out for the others.

"Aside from those four, if there are players who will complement or directly improve our squad then I will look to bring them in."
