The Football Asscociation's decision to dismiss all the charges brought against Millwall Football Club in the wake of the trouble at Upton Park last August has been welcomed by Lions manager Kenny Jackett.

Speaking to the News Shopper, Jackett felt the verdict vindicated the club's stance at the time, in the face of overwhelming condemnation by the popular press and fan forumes.

“We are really pleased and it’s good for our club and really good for our supporters," he commented. “The right decision has been made and we’ve been cleared of all charges because we did nothing wrong on the night.

“There wasn’t one single Millwall supporter on the pitch and that says a lot for us.”
