Jackett pleased with win

It was a long time in coming but Millwall couldn't have picked a better moment to secure their first win on the road in nearly eight months.

Zak Whitbread's early goal was enough to secure all three points against East End rivals Leyton Orient but it wasn't just the win that pleased manager Kenny Jackett but the way in which his injury-hit squad went about the task in hand.

"Games at this level are very tight and the only way you can be successful is if everyone is totally together and gives 100%.

"If you fall 3 or 4% below that it can be the difference between winning and losing and that's something I have been emphasising to the players."

Last night's result was Jackett's fourth win out of five and also The Lions first league victory over The O's since 1984.
