Jackett re-fitted?

Manchester City have granted Millwall permission to speak to their reserve-team boss Kenny Jackett about the manager's job at The Den.

The former Swansea City boss had ruled himself out of the running last month after an initial meeting with The Lions' board but now appears to be the hot favourite for the vacancy after Yeovil Town turned down a third request from the club to talk to their manager, Russell Slade.

Veteran defender Richard Shaw and coach Colin West have since been in temporary charge since Willie Donachie's sacking at the beginning of October.
